Johnnie Walker returns to Whisky & Spirits Live

The world’s leading Whisky brand Johnnie Walker is setting out to dispel those myths as it brings its exclusive House of Walker Lounge experience this year. Sure to pack a punch at this year’s festival – this is Johnnie Walker’s biggest exhibit at the festival yet.

Consumers will be able to explore, experiment and craft their perfect combinations at the Johnnie Walker bar. They will also have the opportunity to engage with Johnnie Walker brand ambassadors and can also sign up for a more in-depth Johnnie Walker Blue Label Mentorship Experience. Global Whisky expert and ambassador Donald Colville will be jetting in from Scotland to guide consumers through the different variants and offerings.

    ·Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old – The Ultimate Blend

    ·Johnnie Walker Green – The Discerning Blend

    ·Johnnie Walker Black – The Iconic Blend

Patrons also have an exciting new launch that will be revealed at the festival to look forward too.

Dispelling myths around Whisky at the House of Walker Lounge

There are many myths around Whisky and those who drink it.

The world’s leading Whisky brand Johnnie Walker is setting out to dispel those myths as it brings its exclusive House of Walker Lounge experience to the 2018 Whisky & Spirits Live festival, taking place at the Sandton City Convention Centre from 31 October to 2 November.

Sure to pack a punch at this year’s festival – this is Johnnie Walker’s biggest exhibit at the festival yet.

“Many consumers, particularly women, believe that Whisky is not an enjoyable drink . Consumers also believe that Whisky should only be served “on the rocks” and that mixers dilute the Whisky or that all Whisky’s tastes the same. This experience will show consumers that there is a Johnnie Walker for everyone and for every occasion” says Mandy Ntsie, Senior Brand Manager of the iconic Scotch whisky brand.

The exclusive House of Walker Lounge experiences promises to open up a whole new world of taste for the new and existing Whisky lovers alike.

“Some of the other myths we hope to shatter through this experience is the idea that Whisky is meant for an older, more discerning market. Or that only poor quality Whisky is used in cocktails - we intend to prove all the sceptics wrong, and even get them to experiment until they find a Whisky or combination they like”. says Mandy Ntsie.

Tickets to Whisky & Spirits Live are available from www.ticketpros.co.za. Ranging from R260 – R320 each; tickets include a tasting glass, 16 tasting vouchers and a bottle of Consol Glass Still Water. High-end lifestyle products will be accessible from 17h00, while the Tasting Hall opens at 18h00 until 22h00.
